If you're reading this, it means in one way or another, God has placed in your heart an interest in being involved in this "street talk" thing. Yay!

A bunch of us are trying to figure out what "street talk" really is. Below is a constant evolving idea of it. Have a read and provide some feedback!

the why of "street talk"

Before we dig into what we do, we must first look at why should we bother with street talk. Below is a summary of what a bunch of us agreed on.

• We have an obligation to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
• To reach the people who wouldn't normally reach out to us and may have never heard of Jesus
• Helps us articulate the gospel, be bold and deepen our faith as we encounter raw questions.
• God is the one brings His sons into his family, nothing can stop God's word from calling his people, we get to be in it for the ride.

the how of "street talk"

In business, there's a helpful model called "Porter's value chain" model. In short, Porter suggest to deliver a tangible product to the market, one should categorise the activities involved into two categories.

1. Primary: Essential activities.
2. Support: Help primary activities to be more effective.

<aside> 💭 To think through how "street talk" will run for 2019 T3, the activities will be split into primary and support activities.

Many good ideas and suggestions were raised in the meetings that are good, but limited by time, they didn't have the opportunity to be finetune into this trimester. And so, these ideas and suggestions will be placed under "ideas" as a resource for next trimester to think through and potentially integrate.
